568-459 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

HS70459 is an AS568-459 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.525 in (394.34 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, heavy-duty powertrain, and automotive air conditioning.
