568-459 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

Part number U90459 is an AS568-459 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.525 in (394.34 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The material holds up against impact and shock loading, extrusion under high pressure, and ozone. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or acids and bases are present.

Common environments for this compound include off-highway equipment, press and forming equipment, and hydraulic cylinders.
