-461 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

Ordered as E80PC461, this is an AS568-461 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.505 in (419.23 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is known for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in HVAC and refrigeration, water and steam systems, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
