Part number HS70461 is an AS568-461 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.505 in (419.23 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The compound resists heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or esters will shorten service life.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, engine timing systems, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
