568-461 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

Ordered as U70461, this is an AS568-461 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.505 in (419.23 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. The material holds up against extrusion under high pressure, abrasion and wear, and petroleum oils. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Exposure to hot water and steam or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include high-pressure fluid power, press and forming equipment, and hydraulic cylinders.
