Ordered as HSN90462, this is an AS568-462 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 16.455 in (417.96 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.005 in (431.93 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, modern refrigerants, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.
