568-462 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

U70462 is an AS568-462 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 16.455 in (417.96 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.005 in (431.93 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure, very high tensile strength and load capacity. It resists abrasion and wear, petroleum oils, and ozone. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or ketones call for a different compound.
