APG stocks the E80PC468, an AS568-468 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 19.455 in (494.16 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.005 in (508.13 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) offers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The compound resists ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels.

It sees regular use in brake and phosphate ester systems, HVAC and refrigeration, and potable water applications.
