568-470 BUNA 70 SQUARE CUT RINGS

The SH70470 is an AS568-470 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 20.955 in (532.26 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 21.505 in (546.23 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across fluid power, general industrial maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
