The U70470 is an AS568-470 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 20.955 in (532.26 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 21.505 in (546.23 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against impact and shock loading, extrusion under high pressure, and ozone. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and exceptional abrasion resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
