-471 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

VB90471 is an AS568-471 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 21.955 in (557.66 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 22.505 in (571.63 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and aerospace.
