This o-ring is supplied in AS568-472 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 22.94 in (582.68 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 23.49 in (596.65 mm), catalogued under part number HS70472. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The compound resists ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones.
