Ordered as HSN90472, this is an AS568-472 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 22.94 in (582.68 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 23.49 in (596.65 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and modern refrigerants. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.
