568-472 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

U70472 is an AS568-472 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 22.94 in (582.68 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 23.49 in (596.65 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to abrasion and wear, petroleum oils, and ozone. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for very high tensile strength and load capacity, exceptional abrasion resistance. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Applications involving prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
