-473 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80473 is an AS568-473 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 23.94 in (608.08 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 24.49 in (622.05 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for excellent electrical insulating properties and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The compound resists high-temperature steam, strong bases, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
