SV70474 is an AS568-474 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 24.94 in (633.48 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 25.49 in (647.45 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.
