-901 BLACK BUNA 50D O-RING

Ordered as H50901, this is an AS568-901 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.185 in (4.7 mm), a cross section of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.297 in (7.54 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. This material stands up to propane and butane, many alcohols, and greases and lubricants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids call for a different compound.
