Part number E80PC901 is an AS568-901 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.185 in (4.7 mm), a cross section of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.297 in (7.54 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Expect good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and ozone, UV and weathering. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants call for a different compound.
