This o-ring is supplied in AS568-901 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.185 in (4.7 mm), a cross section of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.297 in (7.54 mm), catalogued under part number U70901. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to petroleum oils, extrusion under high pressure, and impact and shock loading. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers very high tensile strength and load capacity, long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C).
