Ordered as SH70902, this is an AS568-902 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.239 in (6.07 mm), a cross section of 0.064 in (1.63 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.367 in (9.32 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. It resists many alcohols, water, and petroleum-based oils. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ozone and direct sunlight or ketones call for a different compound.
