This o-ring is supplied in AS568-903 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.301 in (7.65 mm), a cross section of 0.064 in (1.63 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.429 in (10.9 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90903. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. This material stands up to modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and ozone and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, heavy-duty powertrain, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
