568-905 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

HS70905 is an AS568-905 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.414 in (10.52 mm), a cross section of 0.072 in (1.83 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.558 in (14.17 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, modern refrigerants, and heat and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Common environments for this compound include heavy-duty powertrain, engine timing systems, and automotive air conditioning.
