As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. It resists impact and shock loading, abrasion and wear, and extrusion under high pressure. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones are present.
