-908 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80908 is an AS568-908 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.644 in (16.36 mm), a cross section of 0.087 in (2.21 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The compound resists amines and corrosion inhibitors, strong bases, and hot water. Continuous operating temperature is published at -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where some chlorinated solvents or low-temperature dynamic service are present.

It sees regular use in geothermal equipment, power generation, and downhole tooling.
