This o-ring is supplied in AS568-908 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.644 in (16.36 mm), a cross section of 0.087 in (2.21 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm), catalogued under part number H50908. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The compound resists greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and many alcohols. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where polar solvents or ketones are present.
