Part number SH70908 is an AS568-908 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.644 in (16.36 mm), a cross section of 0.087 in (2.21 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

It resists many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer.
