APG stocks the U70908, an AS568-908 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.644 in (16.36 mm), a cross section of 0.087 in (2.21 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and exceptional abrasion resistance. The compound resists extrusion under high pressure, impact and shock loading, and abrasion and wear. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving ketones or acids and bases call for a different compound.
