U70909 is an AS568-909 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.706 in (17.93 mm), a cross section of 0.097 in (2.46 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.9 in (22.86 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for very high tensile strength and load capacity, long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. This material stands up to ozone, petroleum oils, and extrusion under high pressure. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service.
