Ordered as SH70910, this is an AS568-910 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.755 in (19.18 mm), a cross section of 0.097 in (2.46 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The material holds up against greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load.
