-911 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-911 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.863 in (21.92 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.095 in (27.81 mm), catalogued under part number A80911. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. The compound resists hot water, strong bases, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

Typical settings include oil and gas production, geothermal equipment, and chemical processing.
