568-912 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

The HS70912 is an AS568-912 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.156 in (29.36 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The material holds up against modern refrigerants, heat and oxidation, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters.

Typical settings include engine timing systems, automotive air conditioning, and heavy-duty powertrain.
