Ordered as E80PC913, this is an AS568-913 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.986 in (25.04 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.218 in (30.94 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and water and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers good electrical insulating characteristics, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.
