-914 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80914 is an AS568-914 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.047 in (26.59 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.279 in (32.49 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to brake fluids and phosphate esters, high-temperature steam, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and excellent electrical insulating properties. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
