This o-ring is supplied in AS568-914 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.047 in (26.59 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.279 in (32.49 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75914. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with ketones and esters or amines.
