This o-ring is supplied in AS568-916 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.403 in (35.64 mm), catalogued under part number A80916. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists amines and corrosion inhibitors, high-temperature steam, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. Aflas (TFE/P) is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
