Part number HS70918 is an AS568-918 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.355 in (34.42 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.587 in (40.31 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The material holds up against sour gas and amine inhibitors, petroleum oils and fuels, and heat and oxidation.
