568-918 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

U90918 is an AS568-918 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.355 in (34.42 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.587 in (40.31 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for very high tensile strength and load capacity, outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils, abrasion and wear, and extrusion under high pressure. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving acids and bases or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
