568-924 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

Part number U70924 is an AS568-924 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.72 in (43.69 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.956 in (49.68 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. This material stands up to extrusion under high pressure, impact and shock loading, and abrasion and wear. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in press and forming equipment, hydraulic cylinders, and high-pressure fluid power.
