Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.
