*5/8" CARBON YARN WITH I.W. PACKING

Ordered as 11820625-05, this is a Braided Inconel Wire Compression Packing built to a 5/8 inch square cross section. Expect good resistance to shaft wear, process media, and elevated temperature and pressure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Braided Inconel Wire delivers field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking and a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. Rated for service to approximately 1200°F. Applications involving running dry without flush or over-tightening of the gland call for a different compound.
