The 11780625-10 is an Aramid Filament Packing Compression Packing supplied with a 5/8 inch square cross section. This compression packing offers the most economical repairable shaft seal for pumps and valves. The catalog record notes: 10 LB. Box - Approx. 40 FT.

Aramid Filament Packing is specified for dependable service life when correctly adjusted and a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. It resists shaft wear, process media, and elevated temperature and pressure. Rated for service to approximately 500°F. It should not be specified for service in over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush.

Common environments for this compound include mixers and rotary equipment, valves and agitators, and centrifugal and reciprocating pumps.
