Graphite Filament Packing is specified here for exceptional temperature capability well beyond elastomeric materials and no aging, hardening or embrittlement over time. This material stands up to fire exposure, steam, and thermal shock. It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or highly oxidizing service above rated temperature are present.
