Ordered as 11750625-10, this is a Graphite Filament Packing Compression Packing with a 5/8 inch square cross section. The compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. The catalog record notes: 10 LB. Box - Approx. 53 FT.

The compound resists very high temperature, steam, and fire exposure. Graphite Filament Packing is known for no aging, hardening or embrittlement over time and exceptional temperature capability well beyond elastomeric materials. It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or highly oxidizing service above rated temperature.
