Carbon Fiber with Graphite Packing delivers exceptional temperature capability well beyond elastomeric materials, excellent thermal conductivity and fire resistance. The material holds up against steam, thermal shock, and fire exposure. It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or highly oxidizing service above rated temperature.

It sees regular use in steam and heat transfer systems, high-temperature process piping, and exhaust and flue gas.
