*6" DUST PLUG BRASS TOUGH-TITE

APG stocks the 3E60DPBR, a Tough-Tite Brass Dust Plug Cam and Groove Coupling with a 6 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling closes off a male adapter to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

The material holds up against atmospheric exposure, corrosion in water service, and moderate pressure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Brass is specified for excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads and good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints. Exposure to dezincification in aggressive water or strong acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in plumbing and process piping, water and irrigation, and petroleum transfer.
