0283625 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock supplied with a cross section of 0.625 in (15.88 mm). In service, this o-ring cord stock lets you fabricate a custom-size seal on site by cutting and splicing to the required circumference.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.
