6MM (.236) FLUOROELASTOMER ORING CORD

APG stocks the 0M283V6, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock supplied with a cross section of 0.236 in (6 mm). An o-ring cord stock eliminates long lead times on large-diameter custom rings.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, high-temperature process equipment, and aerospace.
