H7X355 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 355 mm (13.976 in), a cross section of 7 mm (0.276 in), and an outside diameter of 369 mm (14.53 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against water, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or ketones will shorten service life.
