The H7X615 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 615 mm (24.213 in), a cross section of 7 mm (0.276 in), and an outside diameter of 629 mm (24.76 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. It resists many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or ketones will shorten service life.
