This material stands up to elevated temperature and pressure, process media, and shaft wear. Braided Inconel Wire offers a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box and field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking. Rated for service to approximately 1200°F. It should not be specified for service in over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush.
